In here are poems, and as it says, fragments and pages of stories I probably will never finish.
But, then again, who knows?
A heart.. by AshesAndWings, literature

A heart..
A heart that isn't confused,
just... unsure.
Not wanting to be broken,
nor wishing to hurt another.
Just wanting something sure and true.
Someone kind and warm.
Though some may come and go,
though my foolish heart will lead me wrong,
it always seems to return to you.
I remember your smile,
kind, quiet words,
the time you scolded me
(I didn't mind :), I'm hard-headed anyway).
I remember these from times ago,
and I wish you were here.
Your quiet manner
and eyes, though brown, seem the deepest green to me.
I want you to have the greatest of happiness's,
and always have that smile on your lips.
Many don't seem to understand you,
and I don't wan
Would you remember,
if we passed on the street?
Would you remember,
how much you meant to me?
So many years have passed.
So many questions yet to be asked.
You swore that you cared.
You swore that you'd be there.
Would you remember
how much you cared?
Maybe I'm asking for too much.
I just can't help but wonder:
Would you remember,
if we passed in the street?
Would you remember,
how much you meant to me?

Heart's winter melody
You have no idea how much it annoys me,
that you never look up the lyrics of a Spanish song.
You just shrug and dance,
leading me in circles in your arms,
not even knowing how sad,
passionate or tender the song is.
If you knew,
you could dance with the emotion of the lyrics,
instead of just the bass, percussion, and melody.
I wish you'd look closer into the lyrics of my life.
Maybe then,
you'd see how much I cared,
how much I had hurt,
Or maybe,
you'd just brush it aside,
searching for a melody.
Not all songs reach the heart,
not all songs can be sung.
I just hope you make her happy,
being with my best and dearest friend.
And I'll just danc
I say I miss your voice,
your hugs...
But, we both know,
such words of want aren't helping us now.
You call,
saying you can do better,
you don't want me to feel pressured.
Even though you may not say this as much later,
you miss me terribly...
I know.
Don't worry, I understand.
Swallowing back a lump in my throat,
I say a word in Japanese,
knowing it'll make you smile.
Saying 'Goodnight',
It's really 'Goodbye' until who knows when...
You said you had no idea how
you're gonna sleep,
and now nor do I.
I just hope,
that if i do,
time will pass faster until
your arms are around me again.
Until then,
Goodnight, Goodbye,
Sleep well, Sweet dream
Burn it.
Incinerate it.
Turn it to ash and dying ember.
Don't just lock it away,
bury it deep.
Annihilate it,
let the embers die
and the ash turn to dust
and fade away.
Scattered by the wind,
taken into the ground.
So let it take place
with my feelings for you.
Every hope,
every desire and wish.
Let them turn to nothing,
let me not even remember
the warm feelings of past memories.
For, my heart aches when I see you with her,
my best friend in the whole world.
I love her so,
and wish her every happiness.
So, if she likes you,
the way you seem to like her,
then I'll let you go from my heart.
Every hope.
Every desire and wish.
I'll turn it to
Just a few seconds... by AshesAndWings, literature

Just a few seconds...
Just a few seconds,
that's all that it took.
Just a few seconds of you in my sight,
and I'm falling again.
I'm wishing again,
for the time we didn't have.
I say your name out loud,
and my heart aches.
I whisper your name in secret silence,
and my heart calls out for you.
Do you hear it?
Do you feel it?
Do you feel the same?
I wonder if you've ever dreamed of me too.
Not even an old flame,
but just a few seconds,
and I want you again.
Navi watched the cool blue autumn sky as leaves fell around her from the branches high above her head. Swirling splashes of gold yellow, bright oranges, deep reds and browns. As they fell, her eyes, a light brown nearly orange in color, flitted away from the sky to fall upon a familiar figure.
"So," the brown haired, blue eyed figure walked out of the trees toward her, "You're here."
"Yep."
"As always, away from people and among trees."
"People are loud, and I don't know enough of them to bother really hanging around." She shrugged, glancing at the tall boy. "I feel more at ease outside in the open rather than in a crowd of
By time the party was over, and most of the guests had left, Jay's place was a mess.
"Isn't the point of having a party is to relax, you know? Kick back, not worry about anything?"
"Yes?" Jay glanced up at Navi from the other side of the room, where he was picking up dropped and knocked over cups, mopping up their spilled contents.
"Then, why, in the name of the stars, are we cleaning up?" Navi glowered at the trash on the ground, wishing her gaze could make it combust. But then she'd have to sweep up the ashes. Well, she didn't mind that.
"You're not the only ones, Nav," a voice said from down the hallway.
"Still
Days after the party, they left the school grounds and were walking home. Jay had about an hour before he had to go to work, and Navi would be left at home. He hated leaving her at home alone, worried that the worst may happen, but, she didn't really mind it, as long as nothing went wrong.
"Nothing will happen," Navi said with a wave of her hand.
"You never know, Nav," Jay said, "a lot has happened that we didn't think possible."
She sighed, knowing he spoke of the invasion. "Well, nothing like that will happen again." I hope, she added in her thoughts.
"Let's hope not," he said gravely, his bright eyes turning dark and worrie
As the sun set, Navi had the radio playing, and went about the house cleaning, prancing here and there, dancing as she dusted off the bookshelves and vacuumed the plush carpet in the living room and bedrooms. The first knock she didn't hear, until it beat at her door with a frantic urgency, her name being called.
Startled, she rushed to the door, only to cautiously open it a crack to see who was there. "Kevin?"
He stood at the doorstep, his thatch of black hair swept sideways in the strong wind, shivering in his coat. "Navi!" he said, the relief on his face as apparent as the black of the night. "We need to go, now. Where's Jay?"
