It's been a long long time...

I've been away from here for some... years. I apologize to my watchers and others, especially the groups I was part of.


I'll be coming back, but under a different account, as I cannot change the name on this one, sadly. AshesAndWings was fine for a period of my life, but, now, gotta keep moving forward. I'll see if I can rejoin the groups I was part of here on the new account. And I'll post a status update when the new one is created.

NEVERMIND, I'M STAYING HERE, YOU'RE ALL STUCK WITH ME.


I have gotten better, as I hope to show soon, and I hope everyone is okay, considering how troubled things are in the world currently.

Hours later...

I'm staying here, on this account, even though I do wish I could change the name, and the email I'd like to use is still tied to the new/now deactivated account, I guess I'll just have to wait till it's available again, maybe? Idk, I haven't been here for so long.

Maybe someday I can afford the Core account for a month, JUST to change the name, not sure. Whatever, I don't want to loose all the progress I have here. And, I think, seeing how I've improved will keep me inspired, and inspire others. Who knows.


If there's anything I should know that's changed in the last 4 years since I've last been here, I'd welcome any advice!

Hi people who are my new watchers and those who have and are still watching me! Thank you for your patience and liking my drawings still, even tho I've been gone for quite a while. So! For an update!

Bullet; Green I was job hunting, and now have a job!
Dot Bullet (Turquoise) - F2U! And now I have the usual chores of taking care of an apartment and husband!

salmon heart bullet Oh! And my husband is SUPER sweet, and a really hard worker. And an IT guy, so he's also my IT guy. Never gonna have any lasting computer problems here!

Sorry for my inactivity, and lack of deviations. Dealing with work, school and studying, my schedule is a wee bit tight....

July Art Challenge Grade: 74% and Ryuunu MyO

  Starting July 1st, I'm going to do my best to draw/paint in Photoshop and submit it every day! Just doing this month long challenge to test myself and force myself to become more familiar and proficient at digital art. And, whenever I submit a new deviation, i'll update this journal till I have all 31, and those submissions will go into a special folder too. Now, rules!
1. Paint and submit EVERY DAY
2. Make each piece about 20 min.
3. Keep it simple! (If possible...)

EDIT: Time to grade! I left my wacom pen at a friend's house the last day, so I was unable to finish.... anyway, I got 23/31 witch constitutes 74%. So, that's my grade for the July challenge, 74%...

Also, I have an entry for the +Ryuunu - MyO Contest 2 - Entries: 1/3 - OPEN!+  He is on July 13.

EDIT: 07/14/15 I have to go out of town this weekend for about 4 days. If I miss a day PLEASE FORGIVE ME. I'll do what I can to make up for it. >.<

   So, I've just cleaned out my messages, notifications? Sorry to those whom I have not responded to in a long while, and if i have not before writing this journal, I probably won't be able to get to it, I'm sorry. I'm just gonna be trying to stay on top of my activity here for now on, and not be MIA for long periods...

   But, thank ALL OF YOU who faved, commented, and viewed my art. It means a lot, and I'll do my best to do more and better in the future.

  Life is life, and I am/will be busy, but, I'm still here :)
